Well thought out planning! Learning to speak with good pronunciation skills is like learning how to breathe well. It is very physical. The feeling needs to be just right for the student to reach a new level.
I think it is like becoming bi-lingual. Once you get to that level, you have successfully internalized the sounds, patterns with the correct lip/tongue placements.
