I thought I’d interview my husband (French, but bilingual Franco-American). Gonna have him try to explain the different ‘t’ sounds. He is getting very curious about the American accent training…and is starting to confess that he has some trouble with certain sounds. I’ll have him be my guinea pig. Also, I’ll check up with my real Franco-American daughter who was brought up in our Franco-American home, had all English-speaking natives (English, American, Australian, Indian, Irish, Scottish) in secondary school, then did her college degree in the US. COOL to work on the family members for initial practice.
